Role overview
As a People Generalist, you will help drive the full people agenda by carrying out HR processes, supporting employees and managers, and keeping recruitment, onboarding, development, and engagement activities running effectively. In this position, you will also use people data and insights to shape actions, coordinate programs, and contribute to a fair, compliant, and supportive workplace.
This role is based in Miami, FL and reports to the Head of People. The position is described as hybrid in the source, while the location is Miami Beach, FL.
What you will do
- Carry out or support employee lifecycle processes in line with agreed group procedures.
- Coordinate and deliver people programs and projects that affect the business units or functions you support.
- Assist employees and managers with the rollout of people processes, initiatives, and solutions.
- Respond to employee questions and concerns, and help with basic employee relations matters, including union negotiation support if needed.
- Support engagement activities that strengthen satisfaction and productivity across the workplace.
- Help ensure recruitment is handled consistently, with clear communication, timelines, guidance, and full administration of assessment centers.
- Support onboarding for Store Management teams and follow up on delivery.
- Organize, facilitate, and quality-check training activities, including culture and values sessions.
- Support performance management and development follow-up, including dialogs and contribution journeys.
- Assist with succession planning and talent pipeline management for Department Managers and Sales Advisors.
- Analyze people metrics and prepare reports that support business decisions and KPI tracking.
- Monitor and follow up on people data such as headcount, turnover, training results, hiring progress, and fair-working-environment outcomes.
Requirements
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in HR operations or in a generalist HR position.
- Strong organization and administrative ability, with careful attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Capability to interpret data and create accurate HR reports.
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusion and ongoing improvement.
