Role Overview
As a People & Culture Partner, you will be an HR generalist collaborating with team members and leadership at our office and arena. You will implement diverse People & Culture programs, closely coordinate with Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and other HR areas, and act as a dependable resource for employee relations, engagement, and HR operations to foster a unified and positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the initial contact for employee relations issues, managing intake, documentation, and resolution in conjunction with People & Culture leadership.
- Facilitate investigations and corrective actions, supporting performance management and maintaining accurate documentation while interpreting policies for leadership and employees.
- Track and audit employee relations records, ensuring thorough, timely documentation, and analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide frontline HR support and guidance to leaders and employees, including assistance with Workday system inquiries.
- Oversee the management, execution, and analysis of employee engagement surveys such as Workday Peakon Employee Voice and other internal/external feedback tools.
- Create reports on survey data, assess participation and engagement trends to aid continuous enhancement efforts.
- Coordinate engagement activities including surveys, listening sessions, action planning, and communication follow-up to drive employee involvement.
- Assist in planning and conducting key company events like the End-of-Season and Holiday celebrations to boost morale.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to support recruitment, including coordination of hiring events and interviews, ensuring a smooth candidate experience.
- Monitor hiring progress, provide updates, and suggest recruitment improvements.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes to maintain a consistent team member experience.
- Deliver expert advice on People & Culture programs, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in administering performance management and goal-setting initiatives.
- Analyze People & Culture metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain compliance documentation related to HR programs and initiatives.
- Work with internal partners such as Benefits & Wellness, Learning & Development, and Compensation to provide integrated support.
- Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- 3 to 5 years of growing experience in Human Resources roles.
- Background in employee relations, engagement, recruitment, onboarding, or similar HR functions.
- Proficient in managing confidential employee data with professionalism.
- Experience with HR Information Systems (preferably Workday) and Microsoft Office tools.
Preferred Experience
- Involvement with employee relations investigations and documentation processes.
- Expertise in administering and analyzing employee engagement surveys.
- Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding operations.
- Background in fast-paced industries such as sports, entertainment, hospitality, or retail.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is desirable.
