Role Overview

This internship is designed to give you practical exposure to HR operations, recruitment, and employee engagement. You will collaborate with the People & Culture team in Singapore and contribute to both local and regional HR initiatives. The role suits students and recent graduates who want to build a career foundation in human resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the employee journey by helping with onboarding and exit processes, including induction scheduling and documentation for departures.
  • Keep employee information accurate and current in the HR system.
  • Assist with performance review coordination and related communication.
  • Prepare reminder messages and supporting materials for review timelines.
  • Track and compile submissions connected to performance reviews.
  • Create HR paperwork, trackers, and routine reports as needed.
  • Help revise policies and processes when required.
  • Contribute to HR projects aimed at improving internal efficiency and the employee experience.
  • Carry out other assigned HR duties from time to time.
  • Share job openings on suitable recruitment platforms.
  • Screen resumes and help shortlist potential candidates.
  • Arrange interviews and coordinate schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain communication with candidates and provide timely updates during recruitment.
  • Support the planning and organisation of employee engagement activities.
  • Assist in creating and launching engagement surveys and related initiatives.
  • Help coordinate training sessions and maintain training-related records.
  • Prepare learning materials and track attendance and feedback.

Requirements

  • You should currently be studying for, or have recently completed, a diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Availability for at least 3 months is required.
  • The preferred start time is from August onward.
  • You need to be organised and detail-oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
  • You should be comfortable working with people and building positive working relationships.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is expected.
  • A positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn are essential.
  • You must be able to manage confidential information with care and discretion.
