Position Overview
This part-time role based in Toronto's Liberty Village involves working approximately 16 to 24 hours per week spread over 2 to 3 days onsite. Initially, the focus will be on recruiting exceptional talent and strengthening HR processes to enhance organizational discipline and culture, with potential to evolve into a full-time leadership position after 90 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical, consulting, sales, and corporate roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Enhance interview and candidate evaluation methods and establish a robust talent pool for future needs.
- Support employee relations by coaching managers, assisting with disciplinary actions, enforcing consistent policy application, resolving workplace issues confidentially, managing onboarding/offboarding, and maintaining HR records.
- Drive culture and employee engagement through team-building, appreciation events, recognition programs, communication improvements, wellness initiatives, gathering feedback, and reinforcing company values.
- Review and upgrade HR policies, implement standardized onboarding, create employee handbooks, suggest performance management best practices, ensure compliance with employment standards, and assist leadership in organizational planning.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience in Human Resources.
- Proven capability to handle simultaneous recruitment for multiple professional roles.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario employment laws.
- Experienced in employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified HR Professional (CHRP or CHRL).
- Background recruiting technical professionals and software developers.
- Experience in technology, SaaS, consulting, or professional service sectors.
- Familiarity with HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Experience supporting growth-stage companies.
Success Metrics for Initial 90 Days
- Completion of recruitment for key business roles.
- Improved hiring efficiency and candidate quality.
- Implementation of structured onboarding processes.
- Standardization of HR policies and accountability measures.
- Launch of initiatives that boost employee engagement and reinforce culture.
- Strengthening trust and support between employees and management.
Additional Information
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the President and executive leadership to guide Analyticsmart’s continued expansion. This role emphasizes building vibrant teams and enhancing organizational effectiveness, balancing leadership coaching, recruitment, culture development, and process improvements with a flexible part-time schedule.
Location: Toronto (Liberty Village)
Work Schedule: 2–3 days per week (~16–24 hours/week)
Potential Transition: Eligible to move into a full-time leadership position post initial 90-day period based on performance and company growth.
