Role Overview
As a People & Culture Coordinator, you will oversee all administrative aspects of the employee journey from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring a rewarding and supportive experience for staff. You will serve as the key contact for employee inquiries, partnering with management as needed, and manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, including students. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining accurate and confidential employee records using HRIS systems and supporting company-wide HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle administrative duties related to employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, promotions, resignations, and changes, fostering an engaging employee experience.
- Act as the main liaison for employee questions, providing prompt and effective responses independently or alongside the People and Culture Manager.
- Conduct end-to-end recruitment activities for allocated positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, interviews, offer preparation, and participation in career fairs.
- Manage regional People & Culture programs, building and maintaining relationships to attract and retain top talent.
- Ensure data integrity and confidentiality within the HRIS (Workday) system, recording all relevant employee lifecycle updates.
- Contribute to organizational initiatives such as training programs, events, communications, and change management efforts.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Postsecondary degree in Human Resources Management with a minimum of two years' experience in an HR coordinator role.
- Proficient understanding of HR legislation and practical experience working with HR information systems, applicant tracking software, and online recruitment platforms.
- A commitment to delivering a positive employee experience aligned to company needs.
- Strong ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (Reliability).
