Primary Responsibilities
- Handle the processing of employee documentation related to hiring, terminations, job and department transfers, salary adjustments, and name changes.
- Respond to routine inquiries about benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
- Organize employee wellness and other HR-related programs as required.
- Offer support during key HR initiatives such as Gallup surveys, HRP open enrollment, and year-end activities.
- Assist with area recruiting efforts including college recruitment, job postings, and monitoring interview processes.
- Manage WorkDay job postings, applications, and background check procedures.
- Prepare and disseminate HR reports.
- Serve as first point of contact for resolving employee relations concerns involving benefits, compensation, and ethics.
- Oversee usage of Workday timekeeping, guiding managers on part-time and temporary staff policies.
- Coordinate Resident Ambassador program HR responsibilities.
- Ensure divisions comply with employment poster requirements.
- Maintain employee personnel records accurately.
- Support HR team with research and special projects.
- Audit biweekly payroll registers to verify accurate processing of employee changes.
- Complete employment verification requests that are not handled through automated systems.
- Provide payroll information to Safety Managers for Workman’s Compensation claims and coordinate FMLA processes.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Associate’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in HR or a comparable function.
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and a collaborative team player.
- Strong initiative, attention to detail, and adept at prioritizing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proven integrity and experience handling confidential information responsibly.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with enterprise HR information systems and applicant tracking systems.
