About the Role

An established sports organization seeks a People & Culture Business Partner to join on a 12-month fixed-term contract in Dublin with hybrid working arrangements. This role involves supporting payroll, total reward, employee experience, and HR operations to advance key people initiatives aligned with organizational goals.

Key Duties

  • Collaborate with management to provide comprehensive HR guidance throughout all employee lifecycle stages.
  • Advise and coach leaders on employee relations and effective people management techniques.
  • Oversee recruitment processes, onboarding, probation, and performance management activities end to end.
  • Promote initiatives to boost employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and strengthen workplace culture.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to inform strategic decisions and insights.
  • Lead continuous enhancements of HR workflows and procedures.
  • Manage payroll operations in partnership with Finance and external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Review payroll processes, controls, and reporting mechanisms to improve efficiency.
  • Address payroll issues promptly and maintain precise employee data.
  • Support salary frameworks, reward programs, and initiatives preparing for pay transparency.
  • Conduct benchmarking exercises for compensation and benefits to maintain competitiveness.
  • Contribute actively to broader People & Culture projects within the organization.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Possess a third-level degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Hold CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) certification.
  • Bring a minimum of three years' experience in HR Operations or as a Business Partner within a fast-moving environment.
  • Demonstrate solid experience handling payroll for over 100 employees.
  • Proven track record managing payroll, reward systems, and implementing process improvements.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of Irish employment law and employee relations dynamics.
  • Experience managing recruitment, performance management, and HR information systems.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical capabilities.
  • Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
