Location

The role is based in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, in the SoBro neighborhood. The property is positioned near music, sports, entertainment, the Cumberland River, and Riverfront Park, and is designed to reflect the creative character of the city through its restaurants, event spaces, spa, and rooftop pool.

Role Summary

The People & Culture Assistant at Four Seasons Hotel Nashville supports employee wellbeing, enrichment, and recognition efforts across the hotel. The position helps create a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging workplace where team members feel supported and appreciated throughout their journey, from onboarding onward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, workshops, and learning sessions alongside the People & Culture and Learning & Development leaders.
  • Help with recruitment and staffing activities in coordination with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Support wellness programs focused on the physical, mental, and emotional health of employees.
  • Organize birthday celebrations and other special employee occasions.
  • Administer appreciation and recognition initiatives, including awards programs.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between employees and management to encourage openness and engagement.
  • Work with department heads to arrange team-building activities, social gatherings, and community volunteer projects.
  • Track expenditures and keep spending within the assigned budget.
  • Prepare, review, and process purchase orders accurately.
  • Assist with People & Culture administration such as payroll support, documentation, and reporting when required.
  • Contribute to employee relations projects, initiatives, and events.
  • Monitor internal communication channels such as bulletin boards and internal mail.
  • Support audits, locker inspections, and other recurring compliance-related tasks.

Requirements

  • A college education is preferred.
  • Between three months and one year of experience in a comparable role, either at Four Seasons or elsewhere, is expected.
  • Comfort using standard computer hardware and related systems.
  • Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain a consistently professional manner.

Schedule and Employment Details

This is a full-time, temporary position scheduled to conclude on January 31, 2027. Work hours may include early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on business needs.
