The role is based at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, a lively waterfront community in Abu Dhabi. The property offers open, bright spaces with wide views of the city skyline and the Arabian Gulf. Positioned on upscale Al Maryah Island, a major business and lifestyle destination, the hotel sits in a modern 34-storey glass tower that combines advanced technology with environmentally conscious design.
The hotel features 200 well-lit accommodations, including 38 suites, all with water views. Guests can enjoy six distinctive restaurants and lounges, making the property a leading venue for elegant social and business occasions. Service is designed to anticipate individual guest needs, whether they are visiting for leisure or for business efficiency.
About the Role
The Guest Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining an exceptional rooms experience through careful attention to detail and consistently high standards of cleanliness. The role involves anticipating guest needs, tailoring service where possible, and staying familiar with the hotel’s offerings and amenities. This position sits within the Housekeeping Department and reports to the Director of Housekeeping and the Housekeeping Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean, dust, and sanitize all parts of the guest room, including the bedroom, living area, dining area, and bathroom, in line with established procedures.
- Carry out room attendant duties in both occupied rooms and departure rooms.
- Provide turndown service to guests.
- Look for opportunities to make the service experience more personalized for each guest.
- Handle additional duties or special projects assigned by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Manager, or Director of Housekeeping.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar position within a luxury brand. Strong organizational ability and close attention to detail are essential, along with excellent communication skills. A friendly, proactive personality and a positive, can-do attitude toward assigned work are also important. Strong interpersonal skills and solid spoken and written communication abilities are required.
