Growing from his family's pizzerias, Slice now supports tens of thousands of restaurants to better serve digitally-focused customers and sustain their businesses.

Role Overview

We are looking for a People Business Partner based in North Macedonia (locations include Skopje, Ohrid, or Debar) to collaborate closely with leaders and employees across the country. This fully onsite role operates from 12pm to 8pm to facilitate cross-timezone coordination with teams in the US and Balkans.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leaders from departments including Phone Operations, Account Management, Inside Sales, and Customer Support on driving organizational effectiveness, enhancing leadership skills, and promoting healthy teams.
  • Coach managers on performance evaluations, handling employee relations, providing feedback, and managing complex personnel decisions.
  • Assist with organizational design, workforce and succession planning, and managing change within the organization.
  • Translate strategic business objectives into actionable people plans and work cross-functionally to implement effective HR programs.
  • Ensure adherence to North Macedonian labor laws and employment regulations in all people practices.
  • Analyze employee data and feedback to identify trends and improve outcomes, representing the Balkans in global HR discussions.

Team Structure

You will be part of a dedicated People team, reporting to the Director of People Partners, and collaborating with colleagues across North Macedonia, Kosovo, the UK, and the US.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a People Business Partner in fast-paced or growing organizations.
  • Deep understanding of North Macedonian labor law and employment practices.
  • Experience supporting operational, go-to-market, customer support, or similar functions.
  • Strong background in performance management, employee relations, talent development, organizational health, and leadership coaching.
  • Experienced in guiding teams through phases of growth and organizational change.
  • Proficient in organizational design, workforce planning, and succession strategies.
  • Skilled in project management and driving HR initiatives from start to finish.
  • Experience managing core HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, promotions, and talent assessments.
  • Excellent communicative abilities with strong stakeholder management and trust-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset for informed decision-making and problem solving.
  • Familiarity with customer support or high-volume operational environments, especially with large teams.
  • Comfortable working within dynamic, fast-evolving workplaces with ambiguity.
