About the role
LeanData helps rapidly scaling businesses automate, streamline, and speed up revenue processes. In this position, you will be a key part of the employee journey, supporting candidates from the first conversation through offer stage, and assisting employees from onboarding through everyday HR operations.
This is a blended role with approximately 50% recruiting coordination and sourcing and 50% people operations. It is well suited to someone who likes variety, works well at a fast pace, and wants exposure to the full employee lifecycle in a high-growth SaaS environment.
You will report to the People Operations Manager and work closely with the Talent Acquisition team, hiring managers, and the wider People & Talent group.
Talent acquisition responsibilities
- Find and engage candidates through LinkedIn, ATS databases, referrals, and other sourcing channels for open roles across the company.
- Run early-stage screens, evaluate candidate fit, and keep qualified applicants moving through the hiring process.
- Handle interview scheduling and overall coordination from start to finish, ensuring a polished and efficient candidate experience.
- Keep candidate records current and accurate in Ashby, including notes, status updates, and reporting details.
- Support employer branding efforts such as job ads, candidate messaging, and recruiting events.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager on pipeline quality, sourcing approaches, and process enhancements.
People operations responsibilities
- Support performance review cycles end to end, including setup in the system, manager and employee communications, tracking completions, and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with the benefits broker on open enrollment, employee benefits questions, and routine benefits administration.
- Assist with BambooHR administration, including employee data changes, reporting, and audit support.
- Help manage onboarding and offboarding tasks in partnership with the People Operations Manager.
- Respond to everyday questions from employees about policies, benefits, time off, and general HR matters, escalating sensitive issues when needed.
- Assist with compliance work across US and UK entities, including I-9s, right-to-work verification, and mandatory reporting.
- Contribute to people programs such as engagement surveys, recognition initiatives, and culture-building activities.
Required qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of experience in talent acquisition, people operations, HR coordination, or a similar blended role.
- Practical experience using an ATS and/or HRIS.
- Strong planning and organizational ability with close attention to detail.
- Clear, friendly written and verbal communication with candidates, employees, and managers.
- Good judgment when handling confidential information and sensitive employee situations.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving, high-growth setting where priorities can change quickly.
Preferred background
- Experience in B2B SaaS or another fast-scaling technology company.
- Exposure to both US and UK employment environments.
- Familiarity with Ashby, BambooHR, Lattice, or similar HR and recruiting tools.
- Experience supporting a performance review process or open enrollment period.
