About the Role

Situated within the Operations department in Dubai, the Assistant People Manager plays a crucial role in executing global HR operations to ensure a smooth employee journey throughout their employment lifecycle. This position encompasses HR administration, handling of relevant documentation, policy development, fostering workplace culture initiatives, managing HR systems, and reporting. A close partnership with various business units is necessary to deliver these objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of global onboarding and offboarding for employees.
  • Prepare, issue, and update employment contracts, amendments, official letters, and other personnel paperwork in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain global HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Administer the HR information system, organization charts, and employee records, ensuring all data remains precise and up to date.
  • Manage visa processes including applications and renewals specifically for the Dubai office, along with related office administrative duties.
  • Coordinate company-wide meetings and communications, handling invites, participant management, and event logistics.
  • Administer global leave management processes, including policy enforcement, tracking, approvals, and detailed reporting.
  • Generate comprehensive HR reports, dashboards, and people analytics, while proactively spotting trends and areas for enhancement.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison for employees, promoting a positive workplace atmosphere and embodying company values with professionalism.
  • Continuously seek improvements to optimize HR workflows, enhance efficiency, and enrich the employee experience.
  • Communicate continuously with stakeholders, providing updates on progress, priorities, risks, and deadlines to meet team goals collaboratively.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in People Operations or related HR roles, preferably within fast-growing, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach, capable of working autonomously and driving projects to successful completion.
  • Exhibit strong meticulousness with a focus on maintaining confidential, accurate, and compliant employee records.
  • Have robust knowledge of industry best practices and employment laws, ensuring compliance across multiple locations.
  • Be collaborative, accessible, and dedicated to fostering an outstanding employee experience.
  • Adapt easily within changing priorities and flexible workflows, while coordinating efforts across different time zones.
