About N4 Studio
N4 Studio is the top global agency partner for Webflow, specializing in comprehensive website creation and management services, primarily serving large US corporations with additional clients in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. The team consists of around 70 members spread across Auckland, Australia, UK, Serbia, Poland, and the US, collaborating seamlessly across multiple timezones without a centralized hub. The organization is expanding and seeking talented individuals to join their growth journey.
Role Purpose
This newly created leadership role blends strategic oversight with practical operations to enhance the people experience within N4. The objective is to build a robust talent pipeline, cultivate a positive and connected workplace culture, and unify globally dispersed teams as one cohesive unit. The role balances day-to-day workforce administration—such as recruitment, contracts, and managing varied employment types across countries—with the critical task of fostering engagement and cultural cohesion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across multiple regions, including job posting, proactive sourcing, and candidate management through to offer stage.
- Develop and maintain a sustainable talent pipeline and network that supports ongoing recruitment needs and growth into new regions.
- Drive initiatives and communication efforts that enhance connection, recognition, and culture for a remote, globally distributed workforce, considering diverse working hours and modalities.
- Implement and manage employee engagement tools such as surveys and feedback mechanisms, analyzing results to improve team connection and experience.
- Manage operational aspects of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employment documentation, contracts (including Employer of Record processes via platforms like Deel), probation and performance assessments, and policy updates.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to department leads and the Managing Director on talent-related matters such as performance management, team dynamics, role structuring, and leadership coaching.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates may come from two main backgrounds: experienced People & Culture or HR professionals comfortable with autonomy and building a function globally, or seasoned recruiters with full-cycle hiring expertise eager to broaden into broader people initiatives with mentoring support. Key qualifications include:
- Experience in dynamic environments such as agencies, SaaS, startups, or tech sectors, contributing beyond staffing to shaping cultural and growth initiatives.
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruitment with direct sourcing and headhunting capabilities.
- Hands-on knowledge of employee lifecycle management including documentation and engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with managing various employment arrangements across jurisdictions and contractor types, including platforms like Deel for EOR management.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and identify potential issues proactively.
- Ability to operate independently and establish structured processes for a growing team.
- Comfort with integrating AI tools to enhance daily work efficiency.
Additional Information
The role demands continuous reporting to the Managing Director regarding hiring status, headcount, retention, and engagement levels. A forward-thinking mindset to anticipate and address future people-related needs is crucial to success in this position.
