About the Role

The People and Culture Coordinator will provide essential coordination and administrative support within the People & Culture department, aiding in the delivery of initiatives that foster a positive employee environment and contribute to a transformative culture across the charity. This position supports diverse activities such as employee engagement, learning and development, wellbeing programs, internal communications, recognition initiatives, and office management.

The ideal candidate will be organised, proactive, meticulous, and dedicated to ensuring successful execution of departmental projects, thereby aiding in cultivating a values-driven and positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate various People & Culture projects, ensuring timely execution and completion of tasks.
  • Maintain project documentation such as plans, trackers, and provide consistent progress updates.
  • Assist with implementation of new People & Culture initiatives, systems, and processes aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support employee engagement, wellbeing activities, pulse surveys, and culture-building events.
  • Organise employee recognition programs, Social Committee events, and oversee internal People & Culture communications platforms.
  • Coordinate onboarding, induction, training sessions including mandatory and leadership development workshops while maintaining learning records accurately.
  • Contribute to reward schemes and internal communications promoting employee achievements and positive stories.
  • Manage office operations including facility coordination, supporting hybrid work models, supplier liaison, and event support to maintain an inviting work environment.
  • Deliver administrative support to People & Culture leadership and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Continuously seek improvements in processes and contribute as a proactive ambassador for People & Culture ethos and wider organisational initiatives.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in coordination, administrative, project support, or HR roles.
  • Proven ability to organise events, projects, or training activities effectively.
  • Capability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital platforms.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to foster strong working relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and process improvement orientation.
