  • Maintain confidential, up-to-date employee records and personnel files ensuring compliance.
  • Generate HR reports, monitor dashboards and key performance indicators, and follow up with managers on pending actions.
  • Provide administrative assistance for disciplinary, grievance, and investigation procedures, including note-taking.
  • Support payroll operations, HR system administration, invoice handling, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to deliver a high-quality, responsive HR service.

  • Ability to regularly commute to the N17 office per agreed part-time schedule.
  • Flexibility to travel between North-East London sites and work occasional flexible hours.
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities with effective prioritisation skills.
  • Educational attainment equivalent to at least A-Levels.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards it, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in administrative, customer service, HR, or office support roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High accuracy with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Proactive, positive mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Desirable:

  • Experience specifically in HR administration or coordination.
  • Completion of CIPD Level 3 qualification.
  • Familiarity with HR software and report generation.
  • Experience assisting with recruitment, payroll, or learning and development.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance in care sectors.
  • Experience in diverse community or organisational environments.
  • Participation in employee engagement programs or projects.

Additional Information

  • Role is part-time at 21 hours per week on a fixed six-month contract.
  • Predominantly office-based with potential for some agreed flexible remote working.
  • Applicants must have legal right to work in the UK, as no visa sponsorship is available.

Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave, excluding bank holidays (pro rata for part-time).
  • Comprehensive learning and development programs.
  • Cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Death in service benefit.
