Job Overview
An established manufacturing company in Poole is looking to hire a Payroll and Accounts Administrator. This is a primarily office-based, full-time role with consideration for a four-day workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive weekly and monthly payroll processing for up to 450 employees across various locations.
- Compile and process timesheets, overtime, employee onboarding and offboarding data, payroll adjustments, and statutory updates such as SSP, SMP, and pension contributions.
- Prepare payroll journals and assist with year-end payroll activities including submission of P11D and P11D(b) forms.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC submissions and produce P60 and P45 documents.
- Handle employee-related finance tasks like processing both manual and computerized expense claims and resolving discrepancies with credit card providers and staff members.
Candidate Profile
- Skilled in payroll administration with solid knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Proficient in Excel and adept at efficient and precise data entry.
- Familiarity with accounting procedures is a plus.
- Self-driven, problem-solving mindset with professionalism and a friendly approach.
