Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

Role Summary

We are seeking a Strategic Finance Specialist to develop comprehensive financial deliverables such as business cases, capital allocation reviews, and market analyses that will guide strategic decisions and cost optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct investment appraisals and business cases applying financial metrics including Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return, and payback periods.
• Determine capital allocation and rank investment opportunities relative to hurdle rates.
• Execute scenario planning and sensitivity analysis on corporate plans considering variables like demand, pricing, and expenses.
• Evaluate pricing strategies and discount economics to facilitate price setting and deal approvals.
• Conduct market sizing and competitive landscape studies to support cost-saving initiatives.

Core Qualifications

• Extensive experience in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning functions.
• Track record of owning capital or pricing decisions presented to executive-level stakeholders.
• Background in management consulting or renowned strategy consulting (e.g., Big 4) is preferable.
• Exposure to growth equity investments or deal desk pricing strategy is advantageous.

Compensation and Work Schedule

This is a remote contract opportunity offering $85 to $100 per hour, with expected weekly hours ranging between 10 and 40.
