Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly payroll and salary statements independently while maintaining employee master data
- Handle allowances, bonus payments, vacation entitlements, new hires, exits, and contract changes
- Ensure timely communication with social insurance providers and public authorities
- Create certificates and reports, and support wage tax and social insurance audits
- Respond to payroll tax and social security questions and advise clients
- Work closely with the team and help improve internal processes
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial or tax-related vocational training, ideally focused on payroll and compensation
- Several years of experience in payroll processing, either in an in-house role or within a tax/accounting practice
- Confident handling of DATEV LODAS or a comparable payroll system
- Solid knowledge of wage tax and social insurance regulations
- Highly organized, accurate, and punctual working style
- Strong numerical understanding and analytical thinking
- Service-oriented, dependable, and professional approach
- Team-oriented, communicative, responsible, and discreet
