Position Summary
We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team in Bautzen, Zwickau, or Löbau at the earliest opportunity, available full-time or part-time. Our HR department strives to be a reliable partner for employees and management throughout the employee lifecycle, with payroll playing a critical role by ensuring precision and dependability.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for timely and accurate monthly payroll processing.
- Manage travel expense accounting and related documentation.
- Maintain and update employee master data along with payroll-relevant absence records.
- Handle matters related to company pension schemes.
- Serve as the contact person for management and external entities such as social security providers and tax offices on payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to guarantee smooth support for employees.
- Prepare certificates, statistics, and reports for both internal and external use.
- Contribute to account reconciliations, year-end tasks, and internal projects aimed at improving HR processes.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training with additional qualifications in payroll or an equivalent credential.
- Proven experience in payroll accounting.
- Strong expertise in income tax, social security, labor, and collective bargaining laws.
- Good to excellent knowledge of travel expense regulations.
- Proficient with payroll systems, preferably LOGA, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Independent, structured, and meticulous approach to work.
- Enjoys teamwork and upholds high levels of discretion and accountability.
- Demonstrates a self-directed, service-oriented mindset and keen attention to detail.
