Position Overview
To strengthen our teams in Bautzen, Zwickau, or Löbau, we are seeking a Payroll Specialist (m/w/d) for full-time or part-time employment starting as soon as possible. Our HR department serves as a competent partner for employees and managers, handling everything from hiring to exit processes. Payroll management plays a critical role, providing precision and reliability that form the basis of a trusting work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently and timely handle monthly payroll processing.
- Process travel expense reimbursements and verify supporting documents.
- Maintain and update personnel master data and absence records relevant to payroll.
- Manage company pension schemes.
- Serve as contact for managers and external agencies (social security institutions, tax offices) on payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with HR colleagues to ensure smooth employee support.
- Prepare certificates, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in account reconciliations, year-end closings, and internal projects focused on enhancing HR procedures.
Candidate Profile
- Completed commercial training complemented by further qualifications in payroll accounting or an equivalent background.
- Professional experience in personnel payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax, social security, labor, and collective bargaining laws.
- Good to excellent expertise in travel expense legislation.
- Proficiency with payroll software, preferably LOGA, and MS Office applications.
- Self-reliant, organized, and meticulous working style.
- Enjoyment of teamwork coupled with high discretion and responsibility.
- Demonstrated independence, service orientation, and keen attention to detail.
