Job description

Role Overview

This full-time position (part-time considered for the right candidate) is based at our Head Office in Ringwood, Victoria, offering hybrid working arrangements. We seek a proactive payroll specialist passionate about solving problems, improving processes, and ensuring timely and compliant payroll services that support community care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process accurate, lawful payroll operations
  • Support fortnightly payroll cycles and administer wage increases under multiple industrial agreements
  • Assist and guide People & Culture and business teams on payroll-related questions
  • Maintain payroll data accuracy via regular audits
  • Contribute to reporting and compliance tasks including submissions for ABS, WGEA, PLSL, and year-end processing

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in payroll administration or payroll processing roles
  • Understanding of payroll legislation, taxation, and superannuation obligations
  • Proficient with payroll systems and time and attendance software
  • Meticulous attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Skilled in building effective stakeholder relationships

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Background in large organisations or Community Health/Not-For-Profit sector
  • Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Payroll Administration
  • Familiarity with Dayforce or comparable payroll platforms
