About the Role
DSV Air & Sea is inviting applications for a Payroll Officer position based in Alexandria, New South Wales. This full-time onsite role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring accurate and timely payroll management while prioritizing employee satisfaction and collaboration within the logistics sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end payroll processing with precision and punctuality.
- Address payroll-related inquiries courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate employee payroll records to safeguard data integrity.
- Handle payroll updates such as onboarding, offboarding, and salary revisions.
- Support payroll reconciliations, compliance checks, and related reporting tasks.
- Collaborate closely with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Identify and propose enhancements to existing payroll procedures to boost overall effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
- About three years of experience working in payroll roles.
- Strong attention to detail paired with effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills to juggle multiple priorities efficiently.
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service with a cooperative team spirit and strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with payroll software.
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance, award structures, superannuation, and relevant legislation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with iChris or Chris21 payroll systems is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to payroll management in large or diversified organizations encompassing both white-collar and blue-collar workforces.
- Involvement in payroll reporting and reconciliation processes.
