Key Responsibilities

• Register patients in advance and arrange appointments, procedures, and tests promptly and professionally
• Handle incoming phone calls and keep follow-up and referral queues moving efficiently
• Coordinate with care teams to help ensure smooth and appropriate patient service
• Manage patient checkout and set up follow-up visits based on physician direction
• Enter information accurately into the electronic health record while assisting patients

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in clinical healthcare, or
• At least 1 year of experience as a Patient Scheduler I, or
• At least 1 year of experience working in a contact center or call center
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-call-volume setting
• Comfort and accuracy with data entry and electronic health record systems

Preferred Background

• Experience supporting population health or chronic disease management work
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance verification processes
• Strong communication and customer service abilities
