Role Overview
As an Intake Patient Care Representative, you will help guide newly referred patients through the admission process by collecting the necessary details, checking insurance benefits, reviewing prescriptions, and helping coordinate the next steps in care. The position is centered on precision, documentation, and patient coordination rather than managing a large volume of calls.
You will work with patients, caregivers, and internal teams to make sure intake steps are completed correctly, on time, and in compliance, with the goal of avoiding delays in starting care. The company’s mission is to transform homecare delivery one patient at a time.
Schedule and Start Details
Start date: 8/3/26.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
Applicants based in the Central or Eastern Time Zone will be given preference.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay starts at $18.00 per hour for Tier 1.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage intake tasks from initial referral through handoff to care teams.
- Collect and enter accurate demographic and clinical information for new patient admissions.
- Check insurance coverage and review benefit details.
- Submit authorizations and track follow-ups when necessary.
- Confirm prescription validity and identify missing paperwork or other required documents.
- Speak with patients and referral partners to gather intake information.
- Coordinate with internal departments to help ensure a timely start of care.
- Keep records accurate and compliant with HIPAA requirements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling several intake cases at once while working independently in a remote setting. A background in healthcare documentation and insurance-related workflows will be helpful.

- Should be able to join virtual meetings with a professional, camera-ready setup.
- Needs strong time management, accountability, and self-direction.
- Reliable high-speed internet is required.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare intake, medical office administration, or insurance support.
- Prior experience with insurance verification or authorizations is preferred.
- Experience in home health, DME, or a medical office environment is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
