Role overview

restor3d is hiring a technically inclined and detail-focused Patient Engagement & Operations Specialist to support the engine behind its patient outreach and engagement work. This position blends patient communication, platform administration, clinical research assistance, and reporting/analytics to help improve both the patient journey and internal program performance.

Platform and operations support

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day functioning of restor3d’s texting platform, including communication workflows, sharing patient-specific designs, and monitoring performance.
  • Look for practical opportunities to introduce AI-based tools that can improve efficiency within the patient support process.
  • Assist with recruitment, enrollment, and ongoing retention efforts for restor3d’s patient-specific registry.

Data analysis and reporting

  • Create and maintain dashboards and PowerPoint presentations that display patient engagement and patient outcome metrics.
  • Develop visual reports and analytical views to uncover patterns in patient questions, response turnaround time, and satisfaction ratings.
  • Review patient feedback and operational data to identify process enhancements and support strategic decision-making.

Patient support and communication

  • Answer patient questions by phone, email, and text about restor3d orthopedic implants and physician/provider options.
  • Write, review, and send patient communications that are empathetic, accurate, and compliant with HIPAA requirements.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls and messages to prospective patients and record engagement results in the CRM system.

Education, experience, and working expectations

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Applicants should have HIPAA training and experience working with protected health information (PHI).
  • Background, education, or a demonstrated interest in healthcare or the medical device sector is expected.
  • Clinical research exposure is required, such as study coordination, data management, patient recruitment, or a similar function.

Skills and tools

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualization.
  • Strong PowerPoint development skills for polished, professional presentations.
  • Comfort using commercially available AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and automation platforms.
  • Ability to learn new software and digital systems quickly.
  • Experience juggling multiple platforms and tools at the same time.
  • Independent learning mindset with the ability to build new skills without heavy supervision.
  • Excellent written communication for patient-facing content.
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Excellent organization and the ability to balance multiple priorities across systems.

Physical requirements

This role involves extended periods of desk and computer-based work.
