The client is part of the molecular diagnostics and precision medicine space, using genetic testing to help improve health outcomes and support more personalized care. Their work spans several areas, including oncology, women’s health, and mental health. Backed by more than three decades of experience, the program helps clinicians choose treatments more effectively and make earlier, more informed decisions for patients.

Role Overview

The Patient Advocate Triage I position supports the patient experience by reviewing case details efficiently and accurately. This role helps move advocacy cases forward, strengthens coverage-related workflows, and supports coordinated care. It also requires careful attention to regulatory compliance and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and clear a large number of cases quickly in a high-pressure, fast-moving setting.
  • Examine incoming paperwork to assess whether coverage requirements are met.
  • Share current case information with Patient Advocate teams.
  • Handle standard work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Follow CLIA and HIPAA requirements at all times.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
  • Familiarity with clinical laboratory systems and/or CRM platforms is advantageous.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities while working to deadlines.
  • Strong analytical ability to review details and confirm whether case files are complete.

Compensation

Pay will be set based on the candidate’s background, skills, and other relevant considerations.
