Backed by more than three decades of experience, the program helps clinicians choose treatments more effectively and make earlier, more informed decisions for patients.
Role Overview
The Patient Advocate Triage I position supports the patient experience by reviewing case details efficiently and accurately. This role helps move advocacy cases forward, strengthens coverage-related workflows, and supports coordinated care. It also requires careful attention to regulatory compliance and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and clear a large number of cases quickly in a high-pressure, fast-moving setting.
- Examine incoming paperwork to assess whether coverage requirements are met.
- Share current case information with Patient Advocate teams.
- Handle standard work independently with minimal oversight.
- Follow CLIA and HIPAA requirements at all times.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with clinical laboratory systems and/or CRM platforms is advantageous.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities while working to deadlines.
- Strong analytical ability to review details and confirm whether case files are complete.
Compensation
Pay will be set based on the candidate’s background, skills, and other relevant considerations.
