Job description
Role Overview
As a Passenger Processing and Biometrics Lead, you will spearhead the integration and deployment of critical passenger processing systems including CUPPS, CUSS, and SSBD, while advancing biometric identification through BTIVS, eGates, and boarding gate readers. Your role also involves integrating facial recognition with government identity repositories, such as VNeID, and architecting a sovereign data vault complying with PDPL 91/2025 for biometric data residency.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and lead the integration of common-use passenger processing technologies (CUPPS, CUSS, SSBD).
- Implement biometric traveller identity solutions including BTIVS, eGates, and gate reader systems.
- Integrate facial biometric recognition systems with government identity databases like VNeID.
- Design and establish data sovereignty compliant architectures specific to biometric data storage as mandated by PDPL 91/2025.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least 7 years of direct involvement in passenger processing and biometric integration projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering CUPPS and CUSS compliant with IATA standards RP 1797 and 1706c.
- Proven expertise with biometric platforms and integrating identity databases.
- Familiarity with creating architectures that ensure compliance with data sovereignty regulations.
Additional Valuable Experience
- Exposure to border control systems and operations is an advantage.
