Parts Sales Assistant (Male)

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputed multinational commercial vehicle OEM for the position of Parts Sales Assistant based in Bangalore. The role involves working in a direct payroll capacity with the customer, focusing on supporting parts sales operations.

Work Schedule & Eligibility

• Work Location: Bangalore
• Shift Timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM IST, five days per week
• Preference is given to male candidates
• Applicants must have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience
• Any graduate can apply, preferably with a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or related fields

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer calls relating to parts sales, collecting necessary order and customer details, directing enquiries to the suitable Parts Sales Coordinator based on territory
• Manage all parts sales-related inboxes to ensure timely responses and correct assignment to personnel
• Respond promptly and precisely to customer and internal emails pertinent to parts sales
• Provide customers with updates regarding invoices, tracking information, and order statuses
• Support credit processing by assisting management with validated credit transactions and proper documentation
• Undertake additional duties to enhance the parts sales team's efficiency

Required Skills and Expertise

• Customer service experience in sales or supply chain contexts
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and the AS/400 system for parts referencing
• Understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) systems
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational capabilities
• Educational background preferably includes a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Management, or a similar field
