Parts Advisor

Overview

Bolands BMW in Waterford seeks a confident, energetic, and resourceful Parts Advisor. This role supports retail and trade customers, as well as the workshop and technical departments, ensuring efficient parts handling and delivery coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable advice on a variety of automotive parts, including engine components, wheels, tyres, and air conditioning systems, to retail and trade clients.
• Support workshop and technical teams by accurately identifying and supplying required parts.
• Manage and process parts orders, oversee deliveries, and confirm correct receipt and distribution of stock.
• Maintain effective communication with colleagues from different departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to established procedures while maintaining a high standard of customer service and quality in parts and service provided.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in automotive retail is preferred but not mandatory; candidates with strong customer service skills will also be considered.
• Ability to plan ahead and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proactive and professional in delivering customer service.
• Familiarity with CDK Drive dealer software is advantageous.
