Role overview
Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking a service-minded and detail-driven Parts Advisor to join the Aftersales team in Doha, Qatar. The position centers on assisting customers and workshop colleagues with the correct parts guidance, confirming parts availability, preparing estimates, supporting service orders, and helping ensure a seamless journey from first enquiry to vehicle handover.
The role also contributes to achieving parts and service revenue goals while upholding strong customer satisfaction, accurate inventory control, and adherence to operational standards.

Key job responsibilities
- Receive customers in a professional manner, quickly identify their needs, and capture requests accurately.
- Advise customers on automotive parts, accessories, and related service queries at the parts counter.
- Build precise quotations, explain the scope of work clearly, and communicate expected completion or delivery timings.
- Raise and track repair orders and job cards according to internal workflow and workshop needs.
- Work with the workshop team to monitor job status, additional repair needs, part requirements, approvals, and any delays.
- Keep stock availability under review, support inventory checks and cycle counts, and help maintain correct records.
- Handle part returns according to company rules, inspect returned items, and complete the necessary paperwork.
- Support attainment of revenue targets across parts, service, accessories, and value-added services.
- Manage cash handling tasks, billing, petty cash records, reconciliation, and filing in accordance with procedures.
- Explain invoices clearly, keep customers updated on time, and ensure a professional vehicle delivery experience.
- Protect customer satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and helping prevent repeat complaints or repeat repairs.
- Follow company quality standards, SOPs, health and safety rules, and incident reporting requirements.
What you need for success
- Solid working knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, service processes, and dealership aftersales operations.
- Ability to interpret customer requirements, identify suitable parts, and recommend the right solution accurately.
- Hands-on experience preparing estimates, repair orders, invoices, and service-related documents.
- At least 3 years of experience in an automobile dealership environment, ideally in a Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or similar customer-facing aftersales role.
Team environment
You will be part of the Aftersales team within the Quick Service Centre in Doha. The role involves close coordination with Service Advisors, workshop teams, technicians, inventory teams, finance, and management.
The team’s focus is efficient service operations, dependable parts support, strong customer engagement, and consistent delivery of service and parts revenue targets.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another related technical field.
- Good understanding of dealership and distributor business processes.
- Practical knowledge of SAP, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong English communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage customer expectations, workshop coordination, cash handling, documentation, and inventory tasks with care and accuracy.
- Good inventory management capability, including monitoring stock, carrying out audits, performing cycle counts, and processing returns.
- High attention to detail in billing, reconciliation, and record keeping.
- Goal-driven mindset with the ability to contribute to service, parts, accessories, and other sales targets.
- Comfortable working in a busy workshop or quick-service setting while maintaining quality and precision.
