Role overview
The Orange Bowl Committee is hiring for an entry-level, seasonal assistantship within the Partnerships team. This on-site role is based in Hialeah, Florida, and supports sponsor account management, event activation, and fulfillment work across sports and entertainment venues throughout South Florida, including the Capital One Orange Bowl.

Reports to: Coordinator, Partnership Fulfillment
Status: Temporary, full-time, non-exempt, on-site
Duration: 6.5 months

Core responsibilities
Under the guidance of the supervisor, the assistantship will help coordinate and deliver sponsor obligations across Orange Bowl Festival programming, sponsorship promotions, and partner-facing activations. The role also includes support for reporting, documentation, and relationship management tied to sponsorship fulfillment.
Sponsorship fulfillment duties
- Support the planning and execution of sponsor deliverables at Orange Bowl Festival events, including youth football, cheer, arts, basketball, kickoff, luncheons, fan events, VIP pregames, and the Capital One Orange Bowl.
- Help coordinate sponsor promotions such as downtown countdowns, watch parties, and other partner activations.
- Assist with sponsor benefits like ticketing, parking access, media placements, game program ads, in-game video spots, signage, décor, gifts, and donated items.
- Contribute to production manuals and other internal reports containing sponsor-related information.
- Support sponsor appreciation activities, including possible sponsor trips or similar events.
- Assist in producing sponsorship fulfillment materials and proof-of-performance reports.
- Review the organization’s website to confirm that sponsor deliverables are displayed accurately.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Program-specific support
- Serve as an on-site sponsor fulfillment contact for the Creative Arts Contest.
- Help distribute the Creative Arts Contest schedule to partners.
- Assist in creating recaps for each Creative Arts Contest visit.
- Serve as an on-site sponsor fulfillment contact for the Park of the Week Program under the Orange Bowl Youth Football Alliance.
- Help distribute the Park of the Week schedule to partners.
- Assist in preparing recaps for each Park of the Week visit.
General expectations
- Build and maintain professional relationships with sponsors and internal colleagues.
- Represent the Orange Bowl Committee professionally during sponsor activities, South Florida events, and other business settings.
- Support special projects as needed.
Qualifications and working conditions
- Bachelor’s degree along with relevant work experience.
- Strong organizational ability and careful attention to detail.
- Comfort handling, prioritizing, and finishing several projects at once.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and work independently.
- Capability to manage multiple assignments within a short timeline.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to take the lead when needed.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
- Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Photoshop and Publisher are considered an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Pre-employment background screening and drug testing are part of the hiring process.
