Role overview
This role is suited to a proactive, outcome-focused professional who can drive partnership growth, uncover new funding channels, and nurture productive relationships with stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. The position supports the organization’s long-term stability by building strategic alliances and mobilizing resources effectively.
What you will do
- Create and execute structured plans for partnerships and resource mobilization.
- Research, approach, and secure collaborations with government bodies, companies, and other institutional partners.
- Develop enduring relationships with sponsors, supporters, and partner organizations.
- Draft partnership concepts, sponsorship decks, presentations, and persuasive business proposals.
- Handle negotiations and help formalize partnership agreements and joint initiatives.
- Identify and advance corporate social responsibility opportunities with prospective partners.
- Keep an organized and regularly updated database of current and potential partners.
- Represent the organization in meetings, professional gatherings, networking sessions, and sector events.
- Track how partnerships are performing and evaluate their contribution to organizational goals.
- Compile periodic updates and reports on partnership activity, sponsorships, and resource mobilization efforts.
What we are looking for
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, fundraising, sponsorship management, or institutional relations.
- Strong ability to build relationships, network effectively, and negotiate with confidence.
- Solid experience in stakeholder management and commercial or partnership development.
- Capability to prepare polished proposals and presentation materials.
- Proven skill in identifying and converting sponsorship or funding prospects.
- Good analytical ability, with experience in reporting and monitoring performance.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
- Understanding of project management methods and resource mobilization practices.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Prior exposure to CSR initiatives is preferred.
- A professional network in Qatar is an advantage.
- Experience in the nonprofit, social impact, development, or community sector is preferred.
- A demonstrated record of securing and managing strategic partnerships and sponsorship agreements is preferred.
