Part-Time Teacher - Social Science and Mathematics & Reasoning

About the Role

Drishti Academy invites passionate and devoted educators to become part of our academic team in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. We seek instructors for both Academic Classes (8th to 10th grade) specializing in Social Science and Competitive Examination Coaching focusing on Mathematics and Reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Social Science lessons to students in grades 8 through 10 while preparing effective lesson plans, notes, worksheets, and assignments.
• Administer regular assessments, monitor student progress, and support their preparation for CBSE/JAC board exams.
• Create an interactive and disciplined classroom setting that enhances student engagement.
• Provide coaching in Mathematics and Reasoning for competitive exams, including preparation of targeted notes, practice questions, and mock tests.
• Teach problem-solving strategies and shortcut techniques to improve exam performance.
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and analyze student results to guide improvements.
• Keep students informed about the latest exam formats and syllabi.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject area.
• Prior teaching experience is desirable but fresh graduates with solid subject understanding are welcome.
• Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts effectively in simple terms.
• Display enthusiasm for teaching and commitment to student success.

Additional Information

• Position Type: Part-time
• Work Location: Drishti Academy, Gujrat Colony, Checkpost, Chas, Bokaro, Jharkhand
• Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience, approximately between INR 5,000 to 10,000 per month

• Prepare to conduct a 15-20 minute demonstration lesson.
