Position Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic part-time Stylists to join our team at the Washington, DC store. Stylists act as brand ambassadors, offering expert guidance on our demi-fine jewelry while delivering exceptional customer experiences that convert interest into purchases. Key services include performing device-based ear piercings and welding Catbird’s Forever Jewelry with accuracy and care.

Primary Duties

• Provide an engaging, personalized shopping experience that encourages sales and fosters customer loyalty.
• Confidently recommend and sell jewelry pieces tailored to each customer's personal style, lifestyle, and budget preferences.
• Safely conduct device-based ear piercings and inform customers about aftercare and jewelry options.
• Skillfully weld permanent jewelry items, utilizing opportunities to suggest complementary products.
• Educate customers on the materials, craftsmanship, and care required for their jewelry to build trust and satisfaction.
• Maintain store appearance by keeping the sales area well-stocked, neat, and inviting.
• Assist with daily operational tasks such as receiving stock, pricing, restocking, merchandising, and managing inventory.
• Collaborate with store leadership and colleagues to achieve sales targets and uphold high service standards.

• Experienced in retail sales with strong customer service skills; familiarity with jewelry is beneficial.
• Comfortable learning hands-on skills including piercing and welding after receiving training.

Additional Information

This is a part-time position requiring availability on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). The role offers commission-based compensation in addition to base pay.
