Job summary

This role is based in Sacramento, California and is scheduled as a part-time flexible position covering day, swing, and graveyard shifts. The pay rate is $20.10 per hour. The position requires applicants to be able to stand and walk for extended periods and to have open availability across both weekdays and weekends.

In this position, you will protect clients across environments such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, government, and similar sectors.

Key duties

Your main responsibility is to help maintain a safe environment through routine security practices, site procedures, and customer service support. You will also handle incidents and urgent situations with a calm, practical approach and perform scheduled as well as random patrols around the site and perimeter. Work settings and conditions may differ depending on the client location.

Minimum requirements

Applicants for unarmed positions must be at least 18 years old; armed positions require applicants to be 21 or older. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, or at least 5 years of verifiable work experience. Employment is contingent on passing a background check in line with federal, state, and local laws, and a drug screening where allowed by law. Some roles may also require licensing under state or local regulations before hire. A valid driver’s license is necessary only for roles that involve driving.
