Job Overview

Join our team as a Part-Time Retail Assistant during peak operating hours at Changi Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting all sales transactions accurately, handling various payment methods, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers at our duty-free outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute sales transactions efficiently using the Point-Of-Sales (POS) system, managing cash, credit, and other payment forms.
• Carry out end-of-shift cash collection, withdrawals, and reconcile all financial transactions.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels of essential inventory items including receipt rolls and STEB bags.
• Perform daily cleaning and upkeep duties to sustain a safe and tidy work environment.
• Stay updated on duty-free concession regulations such as allowances and age restrictions.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging customers, recommending products, and sharing detailed product information to enhance sales.
• Represent the company at the front line, upholding branding and professional image standards.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned to support operations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old due to legal regulations surrounding tobacco product sales.
• Available to work 3 to 5 days weekly, including weekends and public holidays.
• Commitment for a minimum period of 2 months.
• Strong customer service abilities with a friendly, approachable manner.
• Possess excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated and mature with a service-oriented mindset.
