Role Summary

Avani Broadbeach Residences is seeking energetic and meticulous part-time Housekeepers / Cleaners to join and help grow its housekeeping team. Successful candidates will take pride in upholding high cleanliness standards and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep guest rooms spotless, including carefully making beds, vacuuming floors, and thoroughly cleaning bathrooms.
• Complete assigned cleaning duties within scheduled hours efficiently and effectively.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily housekeeping targets and overall operational goals.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines consistently.
• Use specialized cleaning equipment and chemicals safely; all necessary training and tools are provided.
• Foster respectful and positive relationships with teammates, guests, and contractors.

Work Schedule

• Rotating shifts from Monday through Sunday.
• Shifts start between 8:00 am and 9:00 am.

Compensation

• Monday–Friday: $27.08 per hour (excluding superannuation).
• Saturday: $33.85 per hour.
• Sunday: $40.62 per hour.

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is preferred.
• Strong commitment to high cleanliness standards with attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Physically capable of performing repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for prolonged periods.
• Clear and professional communication skills to engage with guests and team members.
• Good time management and prioritization abilities.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and attitude.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
