About the Youth Hostel Biggesee
Jugendherberge Biggesee offers 252 beds and hosts approximately 10,500 guests annually. The team of 26 employees dedicates their efforts to ensuring a pleasant stay for school classes, music groups, and holiday participants. The hostel is notably situated in a green area by the Biggesee lake shore.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation while considering business efficiency and maintaining the hostel's quality standards.
- Carry out preparatory kitchen tasks such as cutting, plating, and portioning food.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment as well as the dining room, consistently ensuring hygiene and quality standards are upheld.
- Properly store ingredients and regularly check stock condition.
- Contribute to daily kitchen operations and support buffet setup and food distribution.

- Strong team spirit, reliability, and a commitment to hygiene.
- Previous experience in gastronomy is advantageous but not mandatory.
