Job description
Role overview
An opportunity has opened to become part of the Parking Team at Conquest Hospital. The position focuses on supporting the day-to-day running of the car parks and helping to maintain a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.
What the role involves
You will handle enquiries from patients, visitors, and staff about parking arrangements, process payments, and validate parking tickets. The role also includes recording parking information in a dedicated database.
Patrol and permit checks
A key part of the job is carrying out daily patrols in staff parking areas to check that permits are displayed correctly and that parking is being used in line with the rules. You will also use the permit database to look up information about staff permits.
Staff benefits
The trust offers a range of staff benefits, including opportunities for development, membership of the NHS pension scheme, automatic enrolment to the Temporary Workforce Service, and access to onsite nurseries, staff restaurants, and accommodation. Staff also have access to an internal Occupational Health service and free confidential psychological support through the Employee Assistance Programme. Onsite parking is available from £50 per year.
Application guidance
The trust asks candidates to submit their own applications in their own words and discourages the use of AI-generated content. Applications should reflect your genuine skills, experience, and motivation so they can be assessed fairly and accurately.
