Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced paralegal to join Airbnb’s Corporate Legal Team, known for its innovative and progressive approach. This role involves supporting corporate transactions, ensuring securities compliance, managing board governance, and overseeing entity maintenance. The paralegal will also help streamline legal operations and suggest improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support corporate transactions and governance activities, including preparing closing documents, resolutions, consents, and managing corporate records.
• Coordinate daily scheduling of SEC filing deadlines, board meetings, and committee sessions, while maintaining organized legal files and corporate entity records.
• Assist attorneys in preparing and reviewing SEC filings, earnings releases, investor materials, and other public disclosures.
• Facilitate logistics for board and committee meetings, drafting and organizing materials, minutes, and resolutions.
• Oversee global entity management tasks such as maintaining minute books, tracking subsidiary documentation, and working with external counsel on entity compliance.
• Identify opportunities to enhance internal legal workflows and contribute to team projects that improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 7 years in a law firm or in-house legal role focused on corporate matters; preference for experience with public company compliance or mergers and acquisitions.
• Familiarity with SEC filings, securities law compliance, governance processes, and subsidiary management.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment, exercising sound judgment on when to seek guidance.
• Proactive, resourceful, and ready to assist with additional projects as needed.
• Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
• High standards of integrity, professionalism, and intellectual curiosity, paired with a desire for personal growth.
• Genuine interest or experience in fostering diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace.

Work Location

This is a remote-eligible position for candidates based in United States states where Airbnb holds a registered entity, with occasional visits to Airbnb offices or offsite events as agreed. The list of eligible states is continuously updated.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $102,000 to $120,000 USD annually, influenced by factors such as experience, skills, and business needs. Additional compensation including bonuses, equity, benefits, and employee travel credits may be available.
