About the Opportunity

Sodexo is hiring a Pantry Assistant for a premium corporate client location in Melbourne CBD. This position is centered on keeping pantry and service areas ready for the day, supporting smooth service delivery, and helping ensure a polished dining experience for guests.

The role is practical and fast-moving, ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality work, takes pride in presentation, and can contribute to a service team in a busy environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare pantry stations before breakfast and lunch service and keep them replenished throughout the day.
• Maintain a neat, attractive, and well-organized look across food displays and service areas.
• Track inventory levels and flag when replenishment is needed.
• Support basic food prep and plating tasks when required.
• Keep pantry and service zones clean and orderly.
• Assist front-of-house and kitchen staff during peak service times.
• Work in line with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Provide warm, professional service when engaging with guests.

What We’re Looking For

• Background in hospitality, catering, food service, or a comparable environment.
• Strong customer service mindset with a positive, can-do approach.
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of presentation.
• Ability to stay effective in a busy, fast-paced setting.
• Good organisation and time management skills.
• Flexibility to assist different parts of the operation as needed.
• Food Handling Certificate is an advantage.
• Full, unrestricted right to work in Australia.
