Job description

Role Overview

Sodexo is looking for a Kitchen Hand to support its corporate hospitality operations in Sydney, NSW. This position plays an important part in keeping kitchen workflows efficient, maintaining cleanliness, helping with food preparation, and contributing to a safe and well-organized work environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Clean dishes, utensils, and other kitchen tools and equipment.
  • Keep the kitchen and back-of-house spaces tidy and hygienic.
  • Support the team with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Help move, organize, and store stock.
  • Work in line with food safety requirements and workplace health and safety rules.
  • Provide assistance to chefs and other kitchen team members whenever needed.

About You

  • Experience in a kitchen hand role is helpful, though it is not mandatory.
  • You bring a strong willingness to work and learn.
  • You are comfortable working in a busy, high-pressure environment.
  • You can be relied on and work well with others.
  • You understand hygiene and cleanliness standards.
  • You must have unrestricted legal right to work in Australia.
