Job description

About the Company

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform built for businesses. It supports millions of organizations, from fast-moving startups to large global enterprises, helping them accept payments, expand revenue, and open up new growth opportunities. The company’s mission is to raise the GDP of the internet, creating a broad opportunity to contribute to the global economy through meaningful, high-impact work.

About the Team

The Growth Marketing team is made up of performance-focused marketers and channel specialists. The group works closely with growth, creative, analytics, and regional marketing teams to generate revenue through self-serve and sales-led motions. The team operates globally across Stripe’s products and serves every segment, including startups and enterprise customers.

Role Overview

As the Paid Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead paid digital marketing initiatives that support the inbound funnel, generate demand, and engage important user segments. You will design, launch, and improve scaled digital campaigns while keeping user experience and channel performance at the center of the work. In this position, you will serve as the internal expert on paid digital marketing and work with multiple teams to help deliver marketing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for shaping strategy, managing execution, and continuously improving paid campaigns that support pipeline creation and revenue growth. The role also involves ongoing measurement, stakeholder communication, audience strategy, experimentation, and performance optimization.

Work Environment

This position can be performed either from an office or from a remote location that is at least 35 miles (56+ km) away from a Stripe office. Office-based employees are expected to spend at least 50% of each month in their local office or with users. Remote employees are expected to work primarily from home, although they may travel to the office for team meetings, on-sites, meetups, and events. Stripe does not provide relocation support for moving to a remote location.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range in the United States for this position is $157,800 to $236,800. For sales-related positions, Stripe notes that the range may represent On Target Earnings, which includes both base pay and target variable compensation. The final range may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Candidates outside the US may request the salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits may include equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, a 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus wellness stipends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, testing, and delivery of large-scale paid campaigns that help grow sales pipeline and overall revenue.
  • Own the experimentation calendar and media planning for the program.
  • Track progress across important metrics such as Suspects, MQLs, SQOs, signups, go-lives, pipeline, and revenue, then optimize performance against goals and share updates on a recurring basis.
  • Work with internal partners across campaigns, design, marketing operations, product marketing, analytics, insights, and regional teams to strengthen the paid program.
  • Provide campaign performance reporting to keep stakeholders informed about results and roadmap priorities.
  • Manage audience strategy to ensure campaigns reach the right users.
  • Evaluate paid campaign effectiveness and reallocate budget toward higher-value opportunities.
  • Identify weak spots in the paid program, raise them proactively, and build plans to improve them.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of professional experience.
  • At least 5 years working in paid digital marketing, ideally across paid social, display, and direct response.
  • At least 2 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, including targeting, ad formats, privacy laws, attribution, and incrementality.
  • Ability to translate marketing needs into clear requirements for analytics, campaigns, sales strategy and operations, and marketing leadership.
  • Comfort working independently and moving both strategic and hands-on work forward with limited supervision.
  • Strong analytical thinking, including the ability to spot trends and turn data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience building experimentation roadmaps to improve campaign performance over time.
  • User-first mindset.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, including with teams that are not specialists in paid media.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of professional experience.
  • Preferred: 7+ years of paid digital experience, ideally in paid social, display, and direct response.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally with ABM exposure.
  • Preferred: Experience using Marketo or Salesforce.
  • Preferred: Experience generating demand for sales teams and understanding sales concepts, processes, and metrics.

Additional Information

The role is available in a hybrid format, either in an office or a remote location. Remote eligibility applies to locations more than 35 miles (56 kilometers) from a Stripe office. No relocation support is provided for remote arrangements.

Stripe’s in-office model expects office-assigned employees to spend at least half of each month working from the local office or directly with users, balancing collaboration with flexibility.

Remote employees are expected to work primarily from home, though office visits for business needs, team sessions, events, and meetups are allowed.

The compensation range and benefits described above are subject to change based on location, level, and interview outcomes.
