About the Company

Hilo by Aktiia is on a mission to reduce harm caused by high blood pressure, a condition that affects millions worldwide and leads to around 18 million deaths every year. The company is building technology that helps people better manage this health challenge, with the long-term goal of making blood pressure-related loss and damage far less common.

It is a venture-funded scale-up that has secured more than €96M in funding. Its technology is based on 18 years of research from the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) and is the only medically accurate cuffless device for continuous blood pressure monitoring in everyday life. The product is CE Marked as a Class IIa medical device and received FDA clearance in 2026 as the first cuffless over-the-counter blood pressure monitor in the United States. The company operates in a remote-first model and is headquartered in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Role Overview

This position is a high-ownership growth role for someone with strong commercial instincts and deep performance marketing expertise. You will be responsible for Hilo's paid acquisition function across Meta, Google, and Amazon, overseeing an annual budget of about €7.8M, with substantial expansion expected over the next few years.

The company currently works with specialist agencies across its acquisition channels. The focus of this role is not to personally run every campaign, but to take ownership of performance results, question assumptions, improve measurement quality, and make sure every euro invested creates the highest possible return.

The ideal candidate combines sound business judgment, hands-on channel knowledge, and a strong interest in creating smarter, AI-supported ways of working. You should be comfortable talking through CAC models with Finance, discussing creative performance with Brand, and shaping channel strategy with agency partners.

Location and Working Model

This role is remote within Europe. The position includes quarterly team gatherings and occasional workshops.

Core Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of acquisition performance across Meta, Google, and Amazon.
  • Guide external agency partners and hold them accountable for strong results.
  • Decide how budget should be allocated across channels based on data and business impact.
  • Manage CPA, CAC, and broader acquisition efficiency targets.
  • Spot new growth opportunities and experiment with emerging channels.
  • Create AI-enabled workflows that strengthen reporting, planning, optimisation, and decision-making.
  • Reduce manual work by automating repetitive tasks wherever possible.
  • Continuously refine how the acquisition function operates as it scales.
  • Improve attribution, measurement, and CAC models over time.
  • Design frameworks for incrementality testing and experimentation.
  • Build clear reporting and decision-making tools for commercial stakeholders.
  • Work with Finance to improve visibility into marketing efficiency and growth economics.
  • Partner with Brand to improve creative outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Analytics and Tracking teams to enhance measurement.
  • Support Finance with forecasting, planning, and budget allocation.
  • Help shape growth decisions across the wider business.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience owning paid acquisition performance in a DTC, subscription, marketplace, consumer internet, or technology company.
  • Strong command of Meta advertising and a solid grasp of Google acquisition channels.
  • Experience managing meaningful paid marketing budgets.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling acquisition while improving efficiency.
  • Strong analytical ability and commercial judgment.
  • Experience working with external agencies and measuring them against results.
  • Practical use of AI tools and workflows to improve marketing performance and productivity.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Amazon advertising experience is a plus.
  • Experience in subscription or recurring revenue models is a plus.
  • Background in healthcare, medtech, pharma, or other regulated sectors is a plus.
  • Experience designing incrementality testing frameworks is a plus.
  • Familiarity with GA4, attribution platforms, Looker, Metabase, and tag management tools is a plus.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 30 days, you are expected to develop a strong understanding of the acquisition setup, measurement approach, and growth opportunities. You should also build trust with key stakeholders and agency partners, while identifying quick wins for better performance and efficiency.

Within the first year, success means delivering measurable gains in acquisition efficiency, improving measurement and experimentation capabilities, and building scalable systems and AI-enabled workflows that create more leverage for the team. You should also help position the business to confidently increase acquisition investment.
