Hilo by Aktiia is tackling one of the world’s most widespread health conditions: high blood pressure, which contributes to 18 million deaths every year. The company’s goal is to build technology that helps people manage blood pressure effectively and reduce the harm caused by it.
The business is a venture-funded scale-up that has secured more than $96M in funding. Its product is built on 18 years of research from the Swiss Center for Electronics and Microtechnology (CSEM) and is described as the only medically accurate cuffless monitor for continuous blood pressure tracking in everyday life. It is CE Marked as a Class IIa medical device and was FDA-cleared in 2026 as the first cuffless OTC blood pressure monitor in the United States. The company operates remotely first and is headquartered in Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
Role Overview
As Head of B2B for Hilo Professional, you will take ownership of one of the company’s key growth areas and help scale it into a predictable commercial engine. You will drive revenue, develop strategic partnerships, and define how healthcare professionals and healthcare organisations across Europe connect with Hilo.
The business already has a live pipeline, an activation framework, and several active opportunities. Your role will be to convert that base into a repeatable, scalable, and reliable revenue stream. This is a highly visible position with regular contact with senior leadership and strong influence over the company’s future growth.
Location: Germany or the UK preferred, with remote working available across Europe.
Travel: Regular travel will be required for customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and company gatherings.
What You Will Do
- Take full ownership of Hilo Professional, including strategy, commercial growth, partnerships, and execution.
- Create the operating structure, reporting, and routines needed to make the business scalable and predictable.
- Set up clear commercial processes, forecasting methods, and performance tracking.
- As the business expands, recruit and lead the team around you, beginning with customer success and partner management.
- Manage an active pipeline and strategic opportunities already underway.
- Identify, prioritise, and win high-value partnerships across healthcare professionals, pharmacies, healthcare systems, payers, wholesalers, and similar channels.
- Own revenue targets and broader commercial outcomes.
- Shape pricing, account prioritisation, and other commercial decisions within agreed guidelines.
- Build programmes that move healthcare professionals from awareness to active recommendation of Hilo.
- Develop trackable activation metrics and reporting.
- Design a framework for engagement, onboarding, and long-term advocacy that can scale.
- Work closely with Product, Medical Affairs, Scientific Affairs, Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, and PR.
- Turn customer and market insights into product and business opportunities.
- Use medical and scientific expertise to maintain credibility and compliance across commercial work.
Requirements
Essential
- Substantial experience building and scaling B2B commercial functions in MedTech, Digital Health, Healthcare, Pharma, Diagnostics, or other closely regulated sectors.
- A proven history of owning commercial targets and closing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience selling to healthcare systems, providers, professionals, payers, or related healthcare channels.
- Clear experience creating something from the ground up rather than only running an existing setup.
- An entrepreneurial style and willingness to stay hands-on in a fast-moving scale-up environment.
- Strong commercial judgement, with the ability to balance long-term strategy and day-to-day execution.
- Comfort working in regulated healthcare settings.
Strong advantage
- Experience selling into the NHS or similar healthcare systems.
- Experience working with German healthcare organisations, Krankenkassen, pharmacies, or healthcare networks.
- An existing network among healthcare providers, payers, researchers, or key opinion leaders.
- Commercial experience in blood pressure, cardiovascular health, chronic disease management, or related areas.
- German language ability.
- Experience using AI to improve commercial performance, research, workflows, or customer engagement.
