Packaging Operator at Mars - Bolton Pet Plant - $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

Mars is seeking motivated individuals to join our factory team as Packaging Operators. This role is critical to ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and quality on our packing lines. Alongside operational duties, the successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the packaging hall.

Work Schedule

The position involves 12-hour rotating shifts from Monday to Friday with a 4% shift premium:

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain optimal efficiency of packaging lines according to set targets and report any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold the highest safety, quality, and efficiency standards in the packaging hall.
• Ensure achievement of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and GHP (Good Hygiene Practices) packaging scores.
• Complete cleaning protocols to the highest standards consistently.
• Engage actively in operational processes that foster business improvement.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 5 GCSEs with grade C or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical knowledge is preferred but not mandatory.
• Physically capable of standing for long durations and lifting approximately 50 pounds.

Compensation and Benefits

• Sign-on bonus of $3,000 CAD.
• Starting pay dependent on experience at $26.73 CAD per hour.

Additional Information
