Role Overview

As a Packaging Lead at Mountains Walking Brewery/New Hokkaido Bevco, you will oversee the packaging operations team and ensure smooth daily production aligned with quality and safety standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing equipment and workflow, and maintaining detailed operational documentation.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire packaging personnel to achieve daily production goals through effective supervision and training.
• Manage and coordinate packaging processes by setting up and monitoring machinery such as fillers and labelers, and resolving operational issues expediently.
• Conduct quality audits on the production floor, inspect incoming materials and finished products, and guarantee compliance with Quality Assurance, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Keep precise records concerning inventory levels, waste reduction, and overall production metrics.
• Work closely with supervisory staff to review scheduling, manage resources efficiently, and facilitate communication across different shifts.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience in manufacturing or packaging roles, with previous leadership responsibilities preferred.
• Technical proficiency with packaging equipment and inventory management systems, along with a solid understanding of safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership capabilities required to effectively manage teams and processes.
• Completion of high school education or equivalent (GED) is necessary.
