About the Role

Eco Bite Private Limited is seeking a Packaging Associate to manage the packaging operations accurately for its products in Hyderabad, India. This role involves operating automated and semi-automated packaging machinery to pack items, ensuring that every package is properly filled, sealed, labeled, and meets quality benchmarks before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate sealing and packaging machines following established standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Use designated machinery to fill products into pouches maintaining precise weight and quantity standards.
  • Ensure pouches are sealed correctly without leaks, wrinkles, or imperfect seals.
  • Conduct quality checks on packed products for correct product usage, packaging materials, fill weight, seal strength, barcode accuracy, batch numbers, and date coding.
  • Identify, report, and remove any defective or non-compliant packaging immediately.
  • Keep the packaging area and equipment clean and hygienic following food safety and FSSAI regulations.
  • Log production numbers, rejected units, and any machine observations as part of routine record-keeping.
  • Assist in machine setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of packaging machinery operation and equipment.
  • High attention to detail with strong dedication to quality assurance.
  • Capability to detect packaging flaws and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic skills in record maintenance and documentation.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Minimum education: completion of high school (10th or 12th standard) or its equivalent.
  • Experience in food packaging, manufacturing, or production is advantageous but not required.
