Role overview

Ampol is looking for a retail team member to join the South Windsor store in an overnight, customer-facing role. The position is centered on keeping the site running smoothly, supporting shoppers with a friendly approach, and helping maintain an efficient and well-organized store environment.

What you will do

In this role, you will help keep the store presentation, stock flow, and day-to-day service at a high standard. You will also process sales through the point-of-sale system and complete cash balancing tasks carefully and accurately at the end of each shift.

  • Provide excellent service and make customers feel welcome and looked after.
  • Assist the store manager with everyday retail operations.
  • Work closely with teammates to deliver a smooth store experience.
  • Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and detail.
  • Be available for overnight work and weekend shifts when rostered.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate brings retail or customer service exposure, along with the ability to manage POS transactions and handle cash correctly. Good communication, teamwork, and flexibility across a seven-day roster are important for success in this position, especially for overnight and weekend availability.

  • Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
  • Comfort using POS systems and handling cash responsibly.
  • Strong communication skills and a cooperative mindset.
  • Willingness to work across a 7-day roster, including overnight and weekend shifts.
