Job description
About the Role
Join a welcoming and supportive school community in a rewarding leadership position focused on delivering exceptional care and engaging activities for children. As the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for guiding the planning and implementation of daily programs, supervising a small team of educators, and maintaining contact with families, school personnel, and the community. Your leadership will ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), including the My Time Our Place (MTOP) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and you will fulfill the responsibilities of the Nominated Supervisor role.
Role Details
- Part-time after school care during school terms with opportunities to expand to full-time including hours at the Early Learning Centre
- Full-time vacation care staffing required during school holidays except the Christmas closure period
- Additional administrative hours are available
- Occasional relief duties at the Early Learning Centre may be necessary
Candidate Requirements
- Possession of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or an equivalent qualification
- Extensive understanding of NQF, MTOP, and EYLF frameworks
- Leadership experience or strong motivation to assume leadership and management responsibilities
- Exceptional communication and organisational abilities
- Authentic passion for nurturing children and cultivating a positive, values-based environment
